Replaced modem still had some issues. All these plus the fact that my average download for Foxtel ADSL broandband is between 8 to 10mbs per day! When you’re setting up your Foxtel iQ box, you’ll be given two options for ways to connect to the NBN – via Ethernet, or using wi-fi. It took foxtel 2 weeks to connect. The appeal of signing up was concluded by the fact they had an offer making them willing to waive all installation, service and equipment charges. Similar opinion? We have not had many interruptions to our service or few difficulties that couldn't be resolved within the one phone call.

The speed is ok, provided we are on ADSL. We have had discussing customer service while trying to get internet at our home. If anyone has changed who have they changed to and is it any better? This problem commenced in Jan and still ongoing with no compensation or satisfactory resolution. It would be good to know whether they have a separate CVC purchase or whether they are still technically under the Telstra banner and are utilising their CVC. But if you want a broadband provider with excellent internet specs – along with pure, unbridled entertainment – then Foxtel Broadband is definitely for you.
Thought about it more and read reviews about Dodo and they were so much worse than Foxtel so we decided to proceed. We've been 1 month with no internet. If I could give minus 10 stars I would! Belong has to operate off of its own profit / loss, and own CVC.
If you’re not a Platinum customer, then you’ll need to sign a 24-month deal. The rest of my family have no problems streaming about 700gb with it and our tvs have Netflix, Stan and Prime, no dramas. Yes, in many areas the NBN is connected to homes using the cable that was originally rolled out for Foxtel.
On 17/07/2020 I canceled it and went elsewhere. We were meant to be activated for Foxtel broadband on 23/06/2020. Foxtel Broadband is unique because it is broadband combined with Foxtel TV. After experiencing a horric experience with another provider I decided to try Foxtel broadband NBN on my FTTB connection which is able to reach 100mbps setup was easy, customer service is ready to help on the phone or Facebook when you need it. Foxtel is the most shitteth thing I've ever tried to get on it's just disgusting the customer services rubbish and everything about Foxtel is just garbageyou try and pay your bill the f****** answering machine is s*** and they do nothing about but they're happy to take your f****** money there is much more better products out there than this s*** company. Closed my account (after many yrs of subscribing - fool that I am) when it finally dawned that it's a very substandard, expensive, service where my custom has never been valued. They back pedal then when we state that their IQ3 wont even connect to it. Don’t bother with Foxtel go somewhere else.
I did end up going ahead with Foxtel NBN mainly due to the price. Foxtel did pro rate bill to reflect outages. The connection was woeful. Where the price is displayed as $0 the modem-router is supplied by an internet service provider (ISP).
You cannot speak to anyone in Australia and they just send you around in circles. I had Telstra NBN very briefly before and it was no better or worse so in the end the package deal is what got me over the line.
