Greenville County Schools announced on Wednesday, Sept. 23 that it would allow some groups of students to return to four- or five-day-a-week classes.. Exposure to COVID-19 may result in students and staff being isolated away from school. Those students are required to stay in the virtual program for the school year unless space opens up in classrooms at the end of the semester, Royster said. They were represented by Willie Smith and Matthew Perry, while the district was represented by its attorney E. P. (Ted) Riley.
