However, sometimes the solvent dries too quickly and you're stuck trying to remove the product that has dried onto the inside of the oven. The longer the stain remains on the woods surface, the darker it will become.

Stay away from this horrid stuff and use the Vanish Soap instead or Ace bleach. My mom used it to clean some carpet stains. You will get a million times better results using just standard Resolve and Oxy carpet cleaning products.
Useless product. One thing to note is that gel stain recommends more drying time between coats. Love this stuff so I bought a 12 pack .... which will probably last a couple of years! Are there any examples in D&D lore (all editions) of metallic or chromatic dragons switching alignment? Is the fabric polycotton or some other manmade fibre and cotton? A good stain remover should be able to clear at least 99% of stains.

Very happy with such a great product. It's the effect of the bleaching agents in the Vanish. Let the fresh stain sit for about 5 minutes, which is long enough to dissolve the existing stain. If you put it in sunlight somewhere, inside on a window ledge will do (if it ever stops raining) that may get rid of the yellow mark. Then throw down your polyurethane! If you use this method, you'll probably end up removing some of the stain from the wood and lightening the overall color somewhat. Stain remover, it has been the best one I have used.
