There used to be a Kings Food Host in KC in the 60’s that served cheese frenchees – they were delicious. I mean, I’d never even heard of Frenchees, but they are amazing! Start off by frying up a couple grilled cheese sandwiches and then cutting each sandwich into for or five pieces. Cook 2-4 quarters at a time, about 1-2 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted. Stupid question, but I’m actually having a hard time telling- what stage in the cooking process do the pictures in the article represent? I pre-cooked the bacon for a little while too before I wrapped it around the grilled cheese strips, but I probably could have done that for a little while longer as well. Pull up a chair, grab some iced tea, and, Instant Pot Green Beans, Potatoes and Andouille. I just fire up the stove, and things start to fade away.
